🛒 Youtube Live Shopping
Youtube is planning to integrate a live shopping experience into its platform. The company wants to make use of the existing creator-audience connections and remove steps to facilitate the shopping process.
Creators will be able to connect stores from platforms like Shopify, tag products, add trailers, and set up a live shopping stream. Features include uninterrupted streams during purchases and the ability to make live product drops, discounts, and polls.
YouTube Holiday Stream and Shop starts November 15 and will feature shoppable livestreams from established creators like Gordam Ramsay and MrBeast. The week-long event should serve as an experiment for the incoming integration.
